The Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand is one of the strands offered to Senior High School students under the Academic Track. This strand is for learners who aim to take up journalism, communication arts, liberal arts, education, and other social science-related courses in college. HUMSS will help the students improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills. People who want to take this strand dream to become educators, psychologists, lawyers, or any career that involves dealing with other people. Most subjects in this strand focus on Language and Speech.
